Hello Africa today we discuss why Africa is poor despite the resource it owns? You know African continent and its resources, Africa has minerals like diamond, core, Tanzanite and other vital minerals. Africa also has parks that attracts many tourists from other continents, and more resources like good fertile land, full of water that can be used for fisheries and agriculture. Africa has sea that is very potential for transportation and creatures inside it. Africa should be called rich continent but Africa is not rich despite the resource it owns this is the reason why we discuss here. The first reason is laziness, Africans are lazy in doing and thinking. They spend a lot of time for relaxing and chatting instead of making productions in their works.
Let us see the second reason, Africa is poor because of ignorance of these people, They fail to utelize their resources because of ignorance, resources are stolen by other people from other elite people who have knowledge and technology of utilizing the resource. I did not use the term lack of education or lack of technology for the reason. Let us call it ignorance so that it can pain many Africans and fight of investing in education so that the mass population get quality education that will help them utilize fully their resources and become rich.
Another point is poor leadership, sometimes this is caused by ignorance too. In africa many countires have poor leadership, top leaders do not lead the countries fro helping poor people, They are just rulinng for their self benefits. They do not contruct roads that will help to speed up development since good transport helps people move from one placess to other easly doing business or agriculture. If transport will be bad that means people in ruaral areas will fail to send their agricultural products to the market. So transpots play vital role to eradicating poverty
